Car Sales Representative Job Responsibilities

  • Greet customers, help diagnose their needs, and explain how their needs translate to a new vehicle
  • Show and explain exactly what their new car has and how it operates
  • Follow up with leads via phone, text, and email
  • Negotiate sales transactions
  • Attend training and sales meetings
  • Complete sales transaction paperwork

Car Sales Representative Compensation and Benefits

  • Internet Sales: $11,405/month = $137k/yr

Qualifications

Car Sales Representative Requirements

  • 1-3 years of automotive sales experience
  • Computer skills (Word, CRM, Texting, Email)
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
