What You'll DoWe’re seeking a Capture Technician to be part of our innovative team. This role offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and devices. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with both internal and external clients while contributing to the latest projects. Your primary responsibilities will include data collection and processing for various projects, as well as supporting Research and Development (R&D) initiatives.
In this role, you will- Capture data with Face and Body scanners
- Provide Facial Action Coding System (FACS) direction
- Work on data ingestion and processing
- Capture and process Reference data (IBL)
- Collect data for R&D purposes
- Work on improvements and maintenance of scanning spaces and devices
- Understanding of scanning technology and data processing techniques (Photogrammetry)
- Knowledge of Agisoft Metashape or Reality Capture, Autodesk Maya or similar, and Photoshop of similar
- Knowledge of DSLR or machine vision cameras
- A methodically consistent approach to repetitive tasks; values accuracy and acute attention to detail
- Ability to locate and troubleshoot hardware issues before and during scanning
- Basic technical knowledge of low-voltage AC and DC systems, including standard wiring and device connections
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to respectfully interact with co-workers at all levels in a professional environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).
