The individuals will be responsible for accounting, regulatory compliance and administrative functions for a portfolio of captive insurance companies and other clients.
As an Account Management Coop, on a daily basis, the tasks are:
Helps Account Manager review information pertaining to client insurance programs and may help draft insurance and reinsurance contracts.
Assists Account Manager to drive business and retention and improve the client experiences throughout the proposal and renewal process.
Follows-up regarding endorsements, policy issuance, extensions and cancellations and escalates concerns to direct manager or client team, as appropriate.
Supports the renewal cycle by ensuring renewal protocol is completed (via tools available), gathering information, tracking quotes and ensuring documents are issued correctly and on-time in accordance with our professional standards.
Maintains proper records for reporting and audit purposes and processes insurance and claims details into the database.
Builds and maintains relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth and retention.
Responds directly to simple client questions and requests, and solicits assistance from Account Manager as needed.
Helps ensure all client information is collected, reviewed, updated and communicated to placement team for optimal program solutions and pricing.
As the ideal candidate, you will be working towards the completion of an undergraduate degree in business preferably specializing in accounting. You have experienced preparing financial statements and demonstrated the ability to excel in a fast-paced, team oriented environment and the ability to meet tight deadlines. You combine excellent organizational and prioritization skills with a strong attention to detail. You have outstanding interpersonal skills, confidence and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and with external clients. Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Outlook is required.
