Where You’ll Make a Difference- Own end‑to‑end delivery of assigned capital projects (typically $1–$5M, up to $10M), serving as the single point of accountability.
- Define clear project objectives with site leadership and functional partners; translate strategy into executable plans.
- Build and drive the execution strategy with engineering managers; prioritize work and allocate resources effectively.
- Develop economic models with Finance; prepare robust business cases and scenario analyses.
- Champion EHS and Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements across design, construction, and start‑up.
- Lead sourcing strategy with Procurement; engage preferred vendors and manage contracts for cost, quality, and schedule.
- Oversee construction management with a safety‑first mindset; ensure commissioning and start‑up readiness.
- Control schedule and budget; maintain estimates, track changes, and communicate status and risk transparently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Process/Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Bio‑Tech, or Food Technology Engineering (or related discipline).
- 5+ years leading end‑to‑end capital projects in operating/production environments (food/pharma preferred).
- Demonstrated success coordinating cross‑functional teams (operations, technology, maintenance, quality, safety).
- Strong command of project controls (scope, cost, schedule, risk) and change management.
- Working knowledge of OSHA construction safety rules and regulations (e.g., OSHA 510 or equivalent).
- Effective communicator able to influence stakeholders and provide clear, timely status updates.
- Proficient with contracting strategies, vendor management, and readiness for commissioning/start‑up.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a track record of driving safer, better, and faster execution.
- PMP or comparable project management certification.
- Experience delivering capital projects in food & beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Hands‑on leadership of PSM‑relevant projects (e.g., hazardous processes, utilities, or packaging lines).
