This role will serve as the primary owner of Attain Finance’s lender reporting and capital markets reporting function, with responsibility for ensuring all facility, securitization, warehouse, ABS investor, trustee, and related reporting obligations are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with governing transaction documents.
This role is based out of our Greenville, SC office.
Responsibilities- Own the end-to-end preparation, review, and timely delivery of all lender reporting and capital markets reporting requirements
- Manage a team of capital markets reporting analysts
- Oversee and manage recurring reporting deliverables, including borrowing base certificates, funding requests, monthly servicer reports, compliance certificates, trustee reports, investor reports, and lender-specific reporting packages
- Maintain and manage the lender reporting calendar across warehouse facilities, securitizations, ABS transactions, forward flow arrangements, and other capital markets facilities
- Interpret reporting requirements within credit agreements, indentures, servicing agreements, note purchase agreements, and other transaction documents, and ensure reporting outputs comply with those requirements
- Oversee loan-level data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and transformation used in borrowing base reporting, collateral reporting, securitization reporting, and investor reporting
- Ensure reported balances, collateral statistics, eligibility criteria, covenant calculations, and performance metrics reconcile to servicing systems, data warehouses, general ledger balances, bank activity, and prior-period reporting
- Monitor borrowing capacity, collateral availability, eligibility exclusions, concentration limits, advance rates, utilization levels, covenant compliance, and trigger thresholds
- Identify and escalate potential reporting, covenant, collateral eligibility, or borrowing base issues to ALCO and senior management in a timely manner
- Develop, maintain, and enforce reporting controls, including checklists, review procedures, tie-out documentation, exception logs, approval workflows, and evidence retention
- Maintain and enhance formal review, approval, and certification processes for all lender, trustee, investor, and capital markets reporting deliverables.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for lenders, trustees, back-up servicers, rating agencies, auditors, verification agents, and other external capital markets stakeholders on recurring reporting matters
- Manage responses to lender, trustee, rating agency, investor, auditor, and back-up servicer questions related to collateral, portfolio performance, covenant compliance, borrowing capacity, and reporting methodology
- Lead the reporting implementation process for new or amended capital markets transactions, including mapping new reporting requirements, establishing data sources, creating reporting templates, and coordinating internal ownership
- Support lender audits, collateral verification reviews, agreed-upon procedures, back-up servicer reviews, data diligence, and transaction-related due diligence processes
- Investigate reporting discrepancies, data quality issues, covenant calculation differences, and collateral eligibility exceptions; coordinate timely resolution and root-cause remediation
- Maintain centralized documentation of reporting processes, data definitions, report mapping, transaction-specific requirements, covenant calculations, and procedural controls
- Identify opportunities to automate, standardize, and improve lender reporting and capital markets reporting processes, including enhanced use of controlled data sources, reporting tools, and workflow technology
- Prepare periodic reporting for Treasury, ALCO, and senior management summarizing facility utilization, borrowing capacity, collateral performance, reporting exceptions, compliance status, and emerging risks
- Coordinate with internal teams, including Treasury, Accounting, FP&A, Credit, Operations, Legal, Compliance, IT/Data, and Internal Audit to ensure complete and accurate reporting
- Ensure appropriate cross-training, back-up coverage, and continuity planning for all critical lender reporting and capital markets reporting processes
- Provide leadership, guidance, and performance management to ensure team success.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other related field from an accredited college or university
- 5+ years of prior experience in Treasury, Capital Markets or similar role
- Strong Excel modeling and data validation skills; experience working with loan-level data, SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, or similar data tools preferred.
- Experience with structured finance, warehouse facilities, securitizations, lender reporting, borrowing base certificates, or trust/servicer reporting is preferred
- Ability to read and operationalize credit agreements, indentures, servicing agreements, and investor reporting requirements
- Experience designing controls, reconciliations, and review procedures for high-volume financial or operational reporting
- Comfort working with large datasets and translating data into lender-ready and management-ready reporting
- Excellent communication skills with acute attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work under recurring deadline pressure with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple simultaneous workstreams
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to problem solve
This role is based out of our Greenville, SC office.
Base Salary: $125,000 - $140,000 USD
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based on the U.S. average. The actual base salary offered for this full-time position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience.
