Wells Fargo is seeking a Capital Markets Middle Office Specialist within the Securities Lending team as a part of Corporate Investment Banking Operations. Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com .
The role provides direct support to the Securities Lending desk which is focused across the domestic, international, and financing businesses. You will work closely with senior members of the Prime Brokerage and Stock Loan businesses and maintain a strong focus on delivering for the business while supporting partners across the organization. This role requires an understanding of business processes, systems, and client needs to help ensure business changes and new initiatives are operationally sound end to end.
In this role, you will:
- Ensure timely, and accurate, returns, borrows, contract compare, account balancing, mark to markets, DTC monitoring, rate changes, billing, and Loanet matching for both international and domestic processing
- Work collaboratively with other Wells Fargo groups and logistical functions including PB, Finance, IT, Legal, Compliance, Market Risk and Credit Risk
- Ensure control standards are in line with Bank policy as documented. Articulate all control deficiencies within a KRI, audit point or action plan
- Partner with Change Team to analyze and document current state processes and drive future state requirements
- Demonstrate sound understanding of the business and client issues together with the ability to develop solutions to meet these needs
- Ensure deadlines are met and deliverables are of a high standard
- Display enthusiasm and self-motivation to overcome obstacles and demonstrate a positive approach while encouraging the same approach in others
- Drive continuous improvement to deliver on set quantitative goals
- 2+ years of Capital Markets industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Strong working knowledge of securities lending and operations platforms, including Broadridge, Loanet, Global One, and DTC
- Solid understanding of financial products, securities lending, and trade lifecycle processes
- Experience partnering with program management and technology teams to define business requirements and support system enhancements, process improvements, and new business initiatives
- Confident interacting with both internal and external clients while maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Strong understanding of operational controls, risk management practices, and escalation procedures within a regulated environment
- Experience preparing and delivering presentations, business documentation, and management reporting
- Proven ability to perform effectively in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment with daily time-sensitive deliverables
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with business partners, clients, and senior stakeholders
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule
- Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

Skills Required
