Wells Fargo is seeking a Capital Markets Middle Office Specialist who will provide trade support to the business relative to your current role, perform CIB Operations day to day responsibilities, as well as projects/initiatives owned by the group entity agnostic.
In this role, you will:
- All transaction support activity for CIB products, completing trade verification/checks / allocations as applicable to your current role entity agnostic, equity and bonds for this role
- Queue management to ensure all trades feed downstream systems
- Reconcile trade activity between system of record and trade related documentation.
- Take on full ownership of critical team tasks as assigned to your role, maintaining an up to date understanding of all tasks, their associated risks and controls which exist within the team.
- Ensure that processes, procedures, and controls are rigidly adhered to & maintained to reflect the latest RCSA enterprise guidance.
- Continuously review and streamline operational processes to increase efficiencies, controls, minimize operational risk and prevent potential losses.
- Review, analyze and resolve moderately complex trade issues that require in-depth evaluation.
- Assist Manager in meeting deliverables as requested adhering to deadlines agreed.
- Demonstrate solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
- Take direction from TL/ Manager and demonstrate the actions in accordance with the agreed deadlines.
- Assist the Manager/ Team Lead in leading various ad hoc or ongoing initiatives /asks.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in Capital Markets middle office, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education
- English: Native / mother-tongue level (mandatory)
- A strong academic background (ideally to masters or equivalent level).
- SME level of knowledge of core Investment banking products.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload.
- Strong oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, being of an analytical nature & possessing excellent problem-solving skills.

- Assumer l'entière responsabilité des tâches critiques de l'équipe attribuées à votre rôle, tout en maintenant une compréhension à jour de toutes les tâches, ainsi que des risques et contrôles connexes existant au sein de l'équipe.
- Veiller à ce que les processus, les procédures et les contrôles soient rigoureusement respectés et maintenus afin de refléter les plus récentes directives de l'entreprise en matière de RCSA (autoévaluation des risques et des contrôles).
- Examiner et optimiser en continu les processus opérationnels afin d'accroître l'efficacité et les contrôles, de réduire au minimum les risques opérationnels et de prévenir les pertes potentielles.
- Examiner, analyser et résoudre les problèmes transactionnels de complexité modérée nécessitant une évaluation approfondie.
- Appuyer le gestionnaire dans la production des livrables conformément aux échéances convenues.
- Démontrer une solide compréhension de la fonction, des politiques, des procédures et des exigences en matière de conformité.
- Collaborer avec les pairs, les collègues et les gestionnaires et les consulter afin de résoudre les problèmes et d'atteindre les objectifs.
- Suivre les directives du chef d'équipe ou du gestionnaire et exécuter les mesures conformément aux échéances convenues.
Qualifications requises :
- Expérience dans le secteur des marchés des capitaux, ou expérience équivalente démontrée par l'un des éléments suivants ou une combinaison de ceux-ci : expérience professionnelle, formation, expérience militaire ou études.
- Anglais : niveau langue maternelle ou natif (obligatoire).
- Solide formation universitaire (idéalement maîtrise ou niveau équivalent).
- Maîtrise approfondie des principaux produits des services bancaires d'investissement.
- Capacité à réfléchir de manière créative et stratégique.
- Capacité à travailler sous pression et à établir les priorités de la charge de travail.
- Solides compétences en communication orale, en présentation et en rédaction.
- Grand souci du détail, esprit analytique et excellentes aptitudes en résolution de problèmes.
