Responsibilities
- Support PayJoy’s funding strategy, managing portfolios across several countries worldwide, while driving expansion into new markets in Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
- Streamline day-to-day operating activities for all investor cash related cash flows, ensuring compliance with investor requirements in collaboration with Treasury, Finance, and Portfolio Management teams.
- Maintain strong relationships with current and prospective lenders, ensuring clear communication regarding portfolio performance, covenant compliance, business updates and due diligence processes.
- Perform in-depth modeling and analysis of the loan portfolio to identify risks and opportunities, ensuring funding strategies align with Payjoy’s growth objectives.
- Support senior leadership in key corporate finance projects such as industry and market research, regulatory compliance, risk management, and collateralization structuring for expansion into new markets.
- Collaborate with Risk and Engineering teams to support the build and management systems to automate back-end processes for investors.
Qualifications
- Based in Mexico City and available to work at our office 3 days per week.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, corporate finance, or similar roles.
- Experience in fintech is a plus.
- Intermediate SQL is mandatory
- Analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Google suite and other financial tools.
- Familiarity with debt instruments, asset-backed financing, and credit analysis.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work globally across teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
