Our stability, resources, and respectful culture supports you in building a solid career with a great team you can count on day in and day out for the long term.

As the CRS Capital Equipment Project Manager, you’ll lead standardization, risk management, procurement, installation, and maintenance methodology for capital equipment and automated systems across CRS. This role manages project timelines, budgets, vendor selection, and cross‑functional coordination with engineering and manufacturing to ensure equipment meets technical, safety, and production requirements. The manager will maintain equipment risk profiles that drive capital purchases, upgrades, and repairs, and will establish preventative maintenance standards to maximize asset life and availability. They will also identify and drive technology insertion opportunities in partnership with engineering and operations.

What you’ll do:

  • Project Lifecycle Ownership: Manage equipment projects from initial need identification and specification to procurement, final commissioning, and operations handover.
  • Project Management: Manage capital equipment projects from concept through installation, commissioning, and handover — schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Resource & Schedule Management: Develop detailed project schedules, allocate resources, and track key milestones using scheduling tools.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for engineers, operations, procurement and external equipment suppliers to source components and manage lead times; lead procurement and vendor management including RFQs, evaluation, and contract execution.
  • Budget & BOM Control: Oversee project finances and bill-of-materials (BOM) accuracy; ensure estimates cover procurement and installation to produce high-fidelity numbers for the CRS Capital Plan.
  • Standardization: Standardize equipment and processes across CRS to reduce variance, cost, and downtime.
  • Risk Management: Develop and maintain equipment risk profiles that inform purchase upgrade, repair decisions, and capital allocation.
  • Preventative Maintenance & Lifecycle: Define and implement preventative maintenance methodologies, spare parts strategies, and lifecycle cost analyses to maximize asset uptime and life.
  • Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure all equipment complies with industry safety standards (e.g., LOTO, OSHA) and site safety practices prior to turning over to production.
  • Continuous Improvement & Technology Insertion: Drive continuous improvement and technology insertion, evaluating automation and hardware upgrades for productivity, safety, and reliability gains.
  • Documentation & Training: Create technical documentation: installation plans, maintenance procedures, acceptance criteria, and training materials.
  • Cross‑functional Coordination: Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality, and safety to ensure technical and regulatory compliance.
