The position leads the planning, execution, and stewardship of Saint Francis Ministries' capital campaign for our Salina West Residential Campus. This role is responsible for securing major gifts, managing donor relationships, coordinating campaign committee, and working closely with the Executive Director of Development to achieve campaign goals. The position serves as a primary point of contact for lead donors, prospects, and community stakeholders, ensuring an exceptional donor experience throughout the campaign lifecycle.
- Lead all phases of the capital campaign, including quiet phase, public launch, and campaign close.
- Work alongside the Executive Director to create, document, and implement SOPs related to capital campaign operations.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive campaign plan, timeline, and budget in partnership with the Advancement Committee.
- Build and manage a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors, leading discovery, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship across individual, corporate, and foundation supporters.
- Assist with identifying and pursuing grant opportunities aligned with capital campaign priorities.
- Represent Saint Francis Ministries in the Salina, KS community and at regional events to build awareness and support for the capital campaign.
- Prepare and present compelling campaign proposals, gift agreements, and impact reports for major donors and prospects.
- Serve as staff representative and liaison to campaign committee members.
- Plan and execute campaign-related events including kickoff events, donor recognition events, groundbreaking ceremonies, and stewardship gatherings in the Salina, KS community.
- Manage campaign marketing material inventory, ensuring all materials are current and up to date in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications team; maintain consistent and accurate use of brand guidelines, trademarks, and logos.
- In coordination with the Foundation Program Manager, ensure timely and accurate gift processing, pledge documentation, and entry into the CRM database; generate campaign reports and analysis for leadership.
- Collect post-campaign data, conduct analysis for effectiveness and impact to inform future campaign and fundraising strategies.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the capital campaign and broader Foundation goals.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of three to five years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with demonstrated success in major gifts or capital campaign fundraising.
- Experience with development and foundation work
- Experience working with outside vendors and partners.
- Experience working in deadline-driven environments.
- Project Management Experience
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must pass a Centralized Background Check and any background checks deemed to be necessary.
- Lifting requirements of 50 lbs.
