Role Overview

We are seeking detail-oriented and proactive professionals to join our Supply Chain – Procurement / Purchase team. The role involves managing end-to-end procurement processes, vendor relationships, and material planning to ensure smooth supply chain operations for consumer appliance components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end procurement and purchase operations for mechanical and electrical components.

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.

  • Issue RFQs, quotations, and purchase orders and ensure timely follow-up for material deliveries.

  • Negotiate with suppliers on commercial terms, pricing, and lead times.

  • Collaborate with production, planning, and quality teams for seamless material availability.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics for timely inbound flow.

  • Conduct cost analysis, support cost optimization initiatives, and track price trends.

  • Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards and audit requirements.

  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and vendor performance.

  • Support sourcing and new product development (NPD) initiatives as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Supply Chain Management.

  • Background in Procurement / Purchase / Supply Chain within Consumer Appliances or Tier-I OEM setups.

  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and cost structures.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Zoho), and data handling.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, raw materials, and supplier ecosystems.

  • Strong coordination skills and ability to work under tight schedules.
