About this opportunity

This is your opportunity to shape learning that helps colleagues and partner networks deliver exceptional customer outcomes across our Transport business.

As a Capability & Development Manager, you'll play a key role in building the confidence, capability and technical expertise of customer-facing colleagues, original equipment manufacturer partners and dealer networks. Working at the heart of a fast-moving and evolving transport ecosystem, you'll design and deliver learning experiences that help people succeed, support business growth and ensure customers receive the best possible outcomes.

You'll work across the full learning lifecycle, identifying capability gaps and creating engaging learning solutions that bring products, propositions, systems, customer journeys and regulatory requirements to life. Using a blend of digital, virtual and face-to-face learning, you'll create practical programmes that make complex information easy to understand and apply in real-world customer interactions.

Working closely with colleagues across Transport Platform, Distribution, Product, Operations, Risk and Compliance, you'll ensure learning remains commercially relevant, accurate and aligned to changing business and regulatory requirements. You'll also use performance data, learner feedback and business insight to continually evolve learning experiences, measure their impact and drive improvements in colleague and partner performance.

Alongside designing and delivering training, you'll help build capability more broadly through accreditation programmes, Train-the-Trainer initiatives and the effective management of external learning suppliers. Ultimately, you'll help create a highly skilled, confident and future-ready workforce that supports both our customers and our long-term ambitions.

Essential requirements
  • 3+ years’ experience designing and delivering learning programmes and coaching interventions within OEM partners, dealer networks, intermediary sales environments or similar customer-facing sectors.

  • Strong facilitation, presentation and training delivery skills, with experience engaging diverse audiences.

  • Proven ability to identify capability gaps and create effective learning solutions that drive measurable outcomes.

  • Experience translating complex technical, commercial or regulatory information into practical learning experiences.

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable skills/experience
  • Experience creating digital learning solutions using tools such as Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), Adobe Captivate, Evolve and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Knowledge of customer journeys, customer experience and capability development within customer-facing environments.

  • Project management experience leading complex learning initiatives through to successful delivery.
