Salary: $38,320 - $47,900 (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7.5 hours/day, 190 days/year
Job Goal: To provide program guidance to partnering school entities and Intermediate Units, advise students and families taking online courses, and assist with managing and operating the Capital Area Online Learning Association (CAOLA).
Performance Responsibilities:
1. Provides information and guidance to school entities on course offerings, program timelines, program policies, vendor licensing, and best practices in an online learning environment.
2. Participate in planning and implementing the CAOLA program, including conferences, network meetings, and marketing efforts.
3. Report to the assigned school to meet with students and school administrators to support learners with various learning styles, including special education and English language learners.
4. Assists districts with data collection, student registration, report generation in multiple learning management and student information systems.
5. Use various virtual tools and applications to promote communication, collaboration, and creativity between stakeholders.
6. Monitor and communicate regularly with students, guardians, and administrators about course enrollments, progress, attendance, and grades.
7.Conduct student and parent orientation sessions and attend other district events as requested. Occasional evening meetings and overnight travel is required.
8. Assist the CAOLA team in planning and executing training and professional development for internal and external stakeholders.
9. Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving student and parent technical issues. Coordinate with CAIU Helpdesk and district technology teams to provide technical support to online learners and administration.
10. Represent CAIU and CAOLA at regional meetings and industry conferences as a participant and presenter.
11. Assumes any other responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor, Online Learning Program or his/her designee.

QualificationsQualifications:
1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Two years of similar or related experience. Experience in student advising or online learning environment preferred.
3. Proficient in productivity software such as Microsoft and Google Suite and Adobe in creating, editing, proofreading, and publishing in multiple formats and applications.
4. Ability to work independently; multi-task; problem solve, and prioritize work, including meeting established timelines, with little direct supervision required.
5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.
6. Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
