Overview:
As a Canvassing Volunteer, you will play a vital role in engaging with the community to raise awareness and support for a cause. You will be responsible for face-to-face outreach, distributing informational materials, and encouraging community members to act, such as signing petitions, pledging support, or voting.
Key Responsibilities:
Walk door-to-door or engage with people in public spaces to share information about campaigns.
Have meaningful conversations to educate and motivate individuals to take action.
Distribute flyers, brochures, and other materials to increase awareness.
Answer basic questions and direct individuals to appropriate resources for more information.
Record interactions and feedback to help refine outreach strategies.
Represent the organization in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner.

Passionate about the cause and comfortable speaking with new people.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to walk for extended periods and work outdoors (if applicable).

Prior canvassing or outreach experience is a plus but not required, training will be provided.
