As a FP&A Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the HS One Canada Commercial and Academic businesses report accurate and timely financial information, track KPIs and provides strategic insights to support decision-making. You will be involved in analysis of the monthly close, preparation of the annual budgets and monthly forecasting.
You’ll work closely with the HS One Canada leadership team as a finance partner, as well as the accounting and transactional members of the finance team.
What you'll do- Lead the reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes, consolidating data across multiple finance systems.
- Prepare and issue monthly internal financial reports and KPI dashboards, including variance analysis.
- Present and discuss financial performance with Management, offering strategic insights.
- Partner with business groups to resolve data inconsistencies and ensure accuracy.
- Develop and maintain financial models including income and expense planning, trend analysis, cost-benefit, statistical, business cases, and ROI.
- Conduct scenario planning and ‘what if’ analyses to support business decision-making.
- Act as a local Financial System Super User.
- Drive BI tooling and GL consolidation initiatives to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.
- Support the leadership team by modelling investment decisions.
- Achieve company and personal objectives set by the Head of Finance.

- Degree or equivalent qualification in Finance and Accounting.
- Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant preferred.
- 5+ years working in a Finance Function.
- Strong experience in finance system consolidation and BI tooling (HFM, PBCS, MSBC preferred)
- Highly analytical with advanced financial technical expertise.
- Proactive and accountable, with a drive to deliver solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to collaborate and coordinate work with multiple departments and stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail
