Be part of a bold new chapter in philanthropic impact.

We're entering an exciting new chapter at St John of God Foundation. Guided by our new Operational Plan, the next three years will see us build on strong foundations and take bold steps forward.

Our work will be shaped by three key priorities:

  • Donor Journey – creating more meaningful, high-quality experiences for our supporters

  • Strategic Impact – expanding our influence and delivering greater benefit to the communities we serve

  • People First – supporting and empowering our caregivers, now and into the future

Together, we'll deliver a series of major capital campaigns while continuing to grow our successful national fundraising program.

About the role

As our Campaign & Relationship Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting major fundraising projects and initiatives, providing high-level coordination and operational support across two significant capital campaigns. Often described as the "control tower" of a campaign, you will help ensure donor relationships are nurtured, fundraising activities remain on track, and stakeholders receive a seamless and professional experience.

Working closely with experienced fundraising leaders, you will bring together people, information and priorities to maintain momentum and support successful campaign outcomes.

About you

The Position

  • Maintain accurate and timely donor and prospect records within CRM and tracking systems.

  • Prepare donor meeting briefs, summaries and follow-up actions.

  • Support stewardship planning and follow-through.

  • Chair and coordinate fundraising-related working groups, including agendas, minutes and action tracking.

  • Maintain Campaign schedules, roadmaps and status reporting.

  • Drive accountability across internal stakeholders, ensuring required information, approvals and deliverables are obtained to maintain campaign momentum and support fundraising activity.

  • Work closely with the Donor Communications and Content Coordinator to ensure all fundraising materials are accurate, current and ready for donor engagement.

  • Coordinate briefing papers, meeting materials and campaign documentation for senior leaders, campaign volunteers and major donor engagements.

  • Support a collective Foundation team approach and provide operational assistance where required.

  • Coordinate the development of donor proposals, cases for support, campaign messaging, impact reports and other donor-facing materials in partnership with operational and communications teams.

Essential position requirements

You will bring demonstrated experience in senior coordination, fundraising operations, executive support, advancement, Campaign coordination or other complex stakeholder environments. Along with a strong attention to detail, discretion and organisational discipline.

Confident and professional, you will communicate effectively at all levels, including senior leaders, governance groups, donors and campaign volunteers. You remain composed under pressure, exercise sound judgement and maintain high standards of professionalism in all interactions.

Highly organised and self-motivated, you take a proactive approach to your work, demonstrating initiative, strong follow-through and the ability to anticipate needs and manage competing priorities. Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge or comparable CRM systems is desirable.

Above all, people will be at the core of everything you do committing to and supporting our Mission and Values.

All applicants are asked to submit a covering letter (of no more than two (2) pages) demonstrating how you meet the above essential requirements
