PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

 

The CRM Campaign Specialist supports the execution, quality assurance, and deployment of customer marketing campaigns across email, mobile push, SMS, in-app messaging, and other customer communication channels. Using MoEngage as the primary customer engagement platform, this role is responsible for configuring and executing email and push notification campaigns and customer journeys, validating audiences, and ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of customer communications.


The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable. They are naturally curious about customer behavior and marketing technology and are interested in understanding how customer communications support both business objectives and customer engagement. This role is well suited for someone with foundational experience in campaign execution or digital marketing who is looking to further develop their expertise in CRM marketing, audience segmentation, customer journey orchestration, and personalization.



RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign Execution & Deployment

 

  • Build, test, and deploy customer marketing campaigns across email, mobile push, SMS, in-app messaging, and other future customer communication channels.
  • Configure customer journeys, campaign schedules, audience segments, and message content based on business requirements.
  • Secure campaign approvals and ensure campaigns are launched accurately and on schedule.
  • Monitor campaign deployments and assist with troubleshooting execution issues.
  • Maintain campaign calendars and support the execution of daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc marketing initiatives.
  • Support campaign execution across multiple customer engagement platforms as business and channel needs to evolve.

Quality Assurance & Campaign Operations


  • Perform comprehensive quality assurance testing, including validation of content, links, images, personalization, audience targeting, and scheduling.
  • Ensure campaigns meet established standards prior to deployment.
  • Follow documented QA processes and CRM best practices to minimize errors and deliver a positive customer experience.
  • Maintain a high standard of campaign quality and consistency across communication channels.
  • Document campaign requirements, deployment schedules, testing results, and operational processes.

Audience Management & Optimization


  • Assist with audience segmentation, targeting, personalization, and dynamic content validation to support relevant customer experiences.
  • Partner with CRM, Analytics, and Technology teams to verify audience eligibility and campaign data accuracy.
  • Support testing and optimization initiatives by documenting results, learnings, and recommendations.
  • Help maintain a backlog of testing and optimization opportunities and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration


  • Collaborate with Customer Marketing, CRM Strategy, Analytics, Creative, and Technology teams to support campaign execution.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide status updates on assigned work.
  • Develop an understanding of customer journey strategies and business objectives to ensure campaigns support desired outcomes.
  • Identify potential campaign risks, operational improvements, optimization opportunities, and communicate recommendations appropriately.

PREFERRED EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Systems, Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications, coursework, continuing education, or practical experience in digital marketing, CRM, marketing technology, analytics, or related disciplines.

 

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, CRM marketing, marketing operations, customer engagement, campaign execution, or related field.
  • Experience supporting marketing campaigns across email, mobile, SMS, push notifications, or other customer communication channels.
  • Experience working with data to support campaign execution, validation, and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with customer engagement, marketing automation, messaging, or campaign management platforms such as MoEngage, Braze, Iterable, Adobe Campaign, HubSpot, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with audience segmentation, campaign targeting, and customer journey concepts.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and email marketing best practices.
  • Exposure to SQL, customer data platforms (CDPs), or customer data concepts.
  • Exposure to CRM reporting, campaign performance metrics, or marketing analytics.
  • Experience supporting customer lifecycle marketing, loyalty programs, CRM initiatives, or digital marketing campaigns
