The Role

Position Summary

Main responsibility for the position is to manage marketing campaigns for Consumer Electronics (CE) division (VD = TVs and soundbars, DA = mainly refrigerators, vacuum cleaners and washing machines, IT = SSD / memory) in Czechia and Slovakia. That consists of media planning, adoption/localization of global marketing assets, creation of local creative/graphic materials and cooperation and management of other marketing teams regarding CE products.

Role and Responsibilities

In collaboration with external agencies and other marketing managers autonomously and proactively plan and execute communication campaigns. Set KPIs, measure and report on the effectiveness of the communication. Deliver regular reports of campaign results, including web analysis and evaluation of set KPIs (both awareness and sales).

Act as a brand guardian, both internally and externally. Know the Brand Guide from A to Z, adapt playbooks received from HQ and European HQ to local environment in terms of creativity and ensure integration with business units requests.

Ensure that all communication campaigns respect a common Samsung Czech and Slovak vision and approach to the market, while supporting the specific needs arising from each business unit served. In cooperation with sales and product management departments work on local promotions including overall strategy and creative.

Brief and oversee the work of contracted external agencies – two media agencies (one for each market) and one creative agency. Work with significant budget for media communication and for production while having on mind continuous aim for costs optimization and cost/quality optimization.

Ensure effective dialogue with Brand Marketing Group Manager, other marketing colleagues (Marketing Director, PR, social, retail marketing) and each business unit (including eshop team) to align all activities carried out within the company.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent Czech/Slovak and English (both written and spoken)

  • Minimum 5 years previous experience in similar marketing role

  • Previous experience with a product/service launches (go-to-market) is an advantage

  • Deep understanding of media planning

  • Analytical skills, experience with setting and evaluating campaign KPIs

  • Previous experience with media and creative agencies management

  • University degree (in marketing is an advantage)

  • MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) - advanced skills
