The role
Your role as Market Engagement Executive means you will support with articulating the Bupa story to existing clients, prospects and intermediaries helping to maximise our partnerships and create a deeper engagement across every broker and customer touchpoint.
Working with the Market Engagement Manager, this role is accountable for supporting the market engagement team as a whole including:
- Amplifying Bupa’s voice and credibility in the market by supporting the execution and delivery of a best in class thought leading programme of events and initiatives for intermediaries and ESS clients, working with local Marketing teams to achieve this.
- Amplifying Bupa’s voice internally by supporting the execution and delivery of an ESS people engagement programme, including best in class events and a monthly communications update to keep the teams connected, with a focus on boosting engagement, motivation and maximising the sales pipeline.
- Working collaboratively with Sales and Product and Proposition Leads to provide support for strategic intermediaries and clients, to maximise the value of the Bupa partnership through establishing and supporting their wellbeing strategies with innovative and unique communication solutions.
- Working collaboratively with the Sales Leads from across the different regions and Bid Manager, you are responsible for the creation and execution of compelling new business and renewal pitches, ensuring each client receives the required level of focus, input, personalisation and clearly demonstrate the Bupa Difference.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
- Lead the creation, updates, and regulatory maintenance of all regional sales proposals for SME and Corporate. Working closely with Lead Designer and relevant design agencies to produce best in class materials.
- Supporting with the creation of global pitch collateral for all regions including videos, placemats, and leave behind packs working closely with Sales leads and Bid Manager. Adhering to Bupa brand guidelines and using the copy clearances processes with Bupa Global for all external communications, including adhoc presentation decks
- Contributes to the growth agenda by supporting the Market Engagement Manager with communication tasks for intermediaries and clients.
- Ensures legal and regulatory compliance, adheres to Bupa’s Group and Bupa Global policies, and to internal operating procedures, ensuring that risk is flagged or managed in line within Bupa Global’s risk appetite. This includes considering the needs of vulnerable customers and making adjustments to meet their needs.
- Work closely with the Market Engagement Manager and Global Events Manager to provide ongoing support to develop and execute a best-in-class events programme, in coordination with the regional Marketing teams across Bupa Global regions, to improve market engagement and Bupa’s credibility in the marketplace.
- Responsible for supporting with the coordination of the internal engagement programme for all ESS teams around the globe, ensuring they are kept connected and engaged with Bupa’s points of difference - helping to boost the sales pipeline.
- Work collaboratively with teams in Digital, Brand, Clinical and Operations to support strategic client meetings – prospective and existing - ensuring the client meeting delivers an exceptional customer experience and showcase Bupa’s USPs versus the competition.
- To represent Bupa externally in any meetings with agencies including digital, brand, creative and event support
- Supporting the Market Engagement Manager with generic content creation, internal and external for our brokers, clients, and BG colleagues
- Leading projects from end to end. Coordinating the overall tasks, managing stakeholders, measuring/reporting on key data and steering the project through to completion
- Update and maintain the budget for the Market Engagement Team, ensuring that all payments are processed accurately, and all payments are tracker.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role.
- International sales experience, understanding of corporate health insurance business essential.
- Experience of new business processes and knowledge of account management
- Marketing experience preferred.
- Understanding of compliance and QA processes, ability to problem solve and land on processes and solutions within our risk appetite.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and WRAPS system
- Advanced standard of written and spoken English
- Self-motivated, articulate and numerate with an ability to negotiate and align with people at all levels both internally and externally.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders
