Join a team dedicated to creating exceptional sports and recreation experiences! As an Assistant Manager, Camp & Recreation, you will oversee leagues, events, and on-campus sports facilities, fostering engagement and growth while ensuring efficient operations and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee daily operations of the Sports & Recreation department across a client account, ensuring efficient and sustainable operations.

  • Organize and run leagues, tournaments, and events, maintaining a high standard of user satisfaction.

  • Create and manage field schedules, monitor facility usage, and oversee roster signups.

  • Manage inventory for all sports equipment and facilities, ensuring they are maintained in top condition.

  • Provide exceptional customer service through positive, daily interactions with users to deliver high-quality experiences.

  • Align departmental activities with client goals and account strategies to drive program success.

  • Track program participation, collect user feedback, and implement improvements.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Recreation, or a related field.

  • 1+ years of experience in sports management, recreation operations, intramural activities, or customer service (relevant internships considered).

  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent tools.

  • Passion for sports, fostering community, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

  • Proven ability to mentor and coach team members while building strong relationships.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an outgoing personality and a talent for providing outstanding customer service.

Skills Required
