Job Summary:
Join a team dedicated to creating exceptional sports and recreation experiences! As an Assistant Manager, Camp & Recreation, you will oversee leagues, events, and on-campus sports facilities, fostering engagement and growth while ensuring efficient operations and user satisfaction.Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the Sports & Recreation department across a client account, ensuring efficient and sustainable operations.
Organize and run leagues, tournaments, and events, maintaining a high standard of user satisfaction.
Create and manage field schedules, monitor facility usage, and oversee roster signups.
Manage inventory for all sports equipment and facilities, ensuring they are maintained in top condition.
Provide exceptional customer service through positive, daily interactions with users to deliver high-quality experiences.
Align departmental activities with client goals and account strategies to drive program success.
Track program participation, collect user feedback, and implement improvements.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Recreation, or a related field.
1+ years of experience in sports management, recreation operations, intramural activities, or customer service (relevant internships considered).
Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent tools.
Passion for sports, fostering community, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Proven ability to mentor and coach team members while building strong relationships.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an outgoing personality and a talent for providing outstanding customer service.
