The Camp Admin’s primary responsibility is to greet and welcome all who visit the YMCA camp. The Camp Admin helps build the Y community by providing accurate information and connecting members and non-members with one another, staff members, programs, and resources that will help them to accomplish their goals. This Camp Admin role will primarily support the YMCA through from the station on-site at the Upper Main Line YMCA Day Camp Office.

What You’ll Do

Provides outstanding customer experience by greeting camp families and guests and helping to direct them to the appropriate areas in the facility.

Develops and maintains a full understanding of the camps, policies, and expectations of both families and staff.

Performs basic functions in the organizational membership software and ePact. Communication with families about needs of campers and support with questions.

Ensures facility security by signing in and out campers, support staff, and vendors into camp.

Answers member inquiries and/or directs to the appropriate staff member, ensuring the inquiry is responded to appropriately and in a timely fashion.

Maintains a professional atmosphere and presentation with proper and current signage.

Always wears approved YGBW apparel and name tag when on duty.

Ensure compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures.

Perform other related duties as assigned
What You'll Need
- Must be at least 18 years of age and/or have prior experience in working with children in a camp environment.
- Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs.
- Attend all required pre-camp and camp season trainings and meetings as scheduled.
- Obtain and maintain all new hire certifications and trainings before first day of camp.
