Key Responsibilities
Core Records and Regulatory Administration
- Data Entry and Archiving: Input and update flight hours, cycles, and component changes into our airworthiness tracking software, such as Veryon Tracking+ or Centrik.
- Logbook and Work Pack Auditing: Review, verify, and file incoming physical and digital tech logs, pilot sector records, and completed maintenance work packs to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Work Pack Creation: Produce aircraft maintenance work packs and issue work orders in strict accordance with company procedures and Part-CAMO standards.
- Technical Library Support: Organise and distribute updates for aircraft manuals, flight logs, and newly issued regulatory or airworthiness notices so the engineering team always possesses accurate data.
- General Office Support: Assist with daily administrative tasks within the department and supporting the wider DEA team via CAMO support.
- Logical Data Cleaning: Organise raw maintenance information logically into Excel or Google Sheets to ensure data is clear and structured for CAM/DCAM review.
- Utilisation of Off-the-Shelf AI: Apply standard AI tools to quickly sort text, locate specific items within extensive maintenance descriptions, and draft summaries of repetitive defect logs.
- Team Coordination: Act as a central point of contact between the CAMO team, flight operations, and the Part 145 maintenance crew to ensure the rapid transfer of records and paperwork.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Essential
- Regulation. A basic understanding of UK Aviation Regulation in the context of Aircraft Maintenance (Part-CAMO and Part-145).
- Willingness to Learn: An openness to exploring and mastering new software, aviation regulations, aircraft systems and digital tools to enhance departmental efficiency in a fast growing company.
- Strong Administrative Capability: An ability to work in a technical but administrative role where accuracy, organisation, and the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure are critical.
- Comfortable with Spreadsheets: Competence in Excel or Google Sheets, specifically regarding sorting data, filtering, using basic formulas, and maintaining structured sheets.
- Tech-Savvy Approach: Comfort using exploring everyday digital tools and AI applications to solve problems, reformat unarranged text, or accelerate routine tasks.
- Eye for Detail: High precision in data entry, with a natural ability to spot typographical errors, data discrepancies, or missing signatures.
- Professional Communication: Clear, concise oral and written communication skills suitable for drafting reports and interacting professionally with engineers, pilots, and managers.
- High Degree of IT Literacy: Desirable for the candidate to develop into the CAMO Veryon Tracking+ super user over time.
- Regulation. Prior experience working within a regulated environment, such as aviation, logistics, legal, or medical administration.
- Technical Competence. The role will be administering tasks relating to aircraft maintenance, so an outline ability to understand aircraft systems is highly desirable.
- Software. Familiarity with standard aviation tracking software, digital archiving frameworks, or Part-CAMO operations and Competence across standard office tools (documents, spreadsheets and presentations systems).
- UK Driver’s Licence. A current UK driving licence to accommodate occasional travel between operational sites.
