Your Team
You will be part of a high-performing engineering team within the Technology and Delivery division, responsible for designing, building, and operating scalable, resilient platforms that underpin critical market infrastructure. The team works closely with product and operations to deliver robust, secure, and high-performance systems, driving engineering excellence, modern architecture, and continuous improvement to support ASX’s mission of a stable and efficient marketplace.
Your responsibilities
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for Calypso changes and releases
Validate end-to-end trade lifecycle flows (capture, clearing, settlement, reporting)
Design and execute test cases, scenarios, and regression packs based on business requirements
Perform data validation and reconciliation using SQL across trade and downstream systems
Support SIT, UAT, and release validation cycles, including defect triage and closure
Collaborate with Dev and BA teams to analyze defects and drive resolution
Support production releases and post-deployment validation
Contribute to test automation initiatives and CI/CD integration
Document test results, defect logs, and test evidence for governance
Your experience and qualifications
Must have
Strong experience in functional testing of Calypso platform
Good understanding of capital markets (FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Trade Lifecycle)
Strong experience in automation tools (CATT, Selenium, Playwright, API testing)
Solid experience with SQL and data validation
Exposure to test management tools (JIRA, Xray or similar)
Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
Experience with Calypso workflows, APIs, and interfaces (MarkitWire, downstream systems)
Experience with FIX messages
Understanding of performance/NFT testing and capacity validation
Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident/problem/change management)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
