Calypso Business Analyst

We are seeking a seasoned Calypso Business Analyst with over five years of experience in the financial industry, ideally within capital markets. The ideal candidate brings deep functional expertise in trade processing, collateral, and risk management across multiple asset classes. This role involves working on integration, configuration, and implementation of Calypso solutions with a focus on front-to-back workflows and regulatory compliance.

Chile

• 5+ years of professional experience in financial markets, preferably in capital markets
• Strong knowledge of Calypso platform including:
  • Trade Blotter, Pricing, Simulation Reports, Risk Management, P&L
  • Market Data Management, Product Definition, Limits & Compliance
  • Collateral and Margin Management, Liquidation Methods
• Solid understanding of financial instruments: FX, IRD, MM, derivatives, collateral
• Experience in project delivery using Agile methodologies
• Hands-on knowledge of Java, SQL, and Shell scripting for configuration and troubleshooting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
• Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Exposure to xVA, CVA/DVA, or credit & counterparty risk
• Experience with regulatory frameworks: FRTB, EMIR, Dodd-Frank, MiFID II
• Knowledge of integration technologies (REST, SOAP, MQ)
• Familiarity with Nasdaq Calypso enterprise components:
  • Business Rules Engine (BRE), Workflow Manager, Data Hub
  • Calypso APIs, Enterprise Integration Layer (EIL)
  • Cloud or on-premise deployment experience

• Lead or contribute to Calypso implementation and integration projects within capital markets environments
• Gather and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications
• Configure and support core Calypso modules including Trade Capture, Collateral Management, Risk Management, and P&L
• Work closely with development and QA teams to validate system enhancements and fixes
• Liaise with stakeholders (Front Office, Risk, Operations) to deliver solutions aligned with business needs
• Support end-to-end product lifecycle: pricing, trade capture, risk, limits, and settlement
• Manage and troubleshoot market data (curves, rates, instruments) and static data configurations
• Assist in regulatory compliance reporting (e.g., EMIR, MiFID II, Basel III)
• Conduct UAT, system training, and documentation for end-users
• Collaborate on integration with upstream/downstream systems via APIs or EIL
