The Role

Cash & Trade Processing Intermediate Associate Analyst is an entry level role responsible for assisting the function with any projects and initiatives related to cash management in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to facilitate multiple complex transaction types from end to end, including escalation as needed. The candidate will be primarily responsible for performing callback client validations of wire transfer instructions in addition to ensuring timely execution of wire transfer requests received from internal/ external Private Bank clients, confirm authenticity of client instructions in accordance with validation procedures. The position requires extensive interaction with business partners as well as funds transfer team members located in Jersey City, Tampa and India. The candidate needs to be client service oriented, speak directly to clients regarding transaction requests and investigate and resolve client inquiries. The unit processes an average of 500 - 1000 transactions each day. The candidate will be primarily responsible for performing callback client validations of wire transfer instructions in addition to ensuring timely execution of wire transfer requests received from internal/ external Private Bank clients, confirm authenticity of client instructions in accordance with validation procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a minimum of 60 outbound calls to clients each day.
  • Ability to work with different systems, including Microsoft Office/ data entry
  • experience working within high volume environment
  • Authenticate client instructions by confirming validate authorized signatory and performing client callbacks validations.
  • Record validations actions on the online product processor.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies and procedures and Regulatory requirements.
  • Provide Back-up support to Jersey City and India as daily volumes dictate.
  • Ensure priority transactions are processed within standard timeframes.
  • Gather and track activity volumes for MIS reporting.
  • Investigate and resolve inquiries related to processing.
  • Support O&T Ops Transformation initiative to reduce manual touch points by challenging the status quo

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated cash and trade operations experience & knowledge
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfortable with data entry

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
