Calibration Specialist Location: Field-Based | Assigned Territory with National Travel Type: Full-Time, Hourly Reports To: Calibration Manager
You belong in the field, not behind a desk.
If you're the kind of person who gets a little thrill out of precision work, actually likes being on the road, and takes real pride in knowing that the instruments you calibrate are helping produce life-saving therapies, this role was built for you.
VaLogic Bio is hiring a Calibration Specialist to join a team that does meaningful work in one of the most critical industries in the world. You'll work directly in pharmaceutical and biotech environments, keeping the measurement and test equipment that supports drug manufacturing and laboratory operations operating at peak performance and in full regulatory compliance.
About VaLogic Bio
VaLogic Bio provides compliance and technology services to life sciences organizations across the country. We help scientists and manufacturers stay FDA compliant so they can keep their focus where it belongs: advancing the therapies that change lives.
Our services span advisory and facility design, equipment calibration and validation, commissioning, preventative maintenance, environmental monitoring, and SaaS-based compliance technology. Our vision is simple: to become the nation's premier single-source Biopharma solution provider. Our mission is to support those on the quest for a cure.
What You'll Do
You will travel to client sites (laboratories, cleanrooms, manufacturing facilities, and calibration labs) and perform hands-on calibration, troubleshooting, repair, and documentation across a wide range of instrumentation and measurement equipment. No two days are exactly the same.

Creating, maintaining, and executing calibration procedures for varied instrumentation.
Completing all calibration documentation and certification records in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Using diagnostic tools to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions in the field.
Serving as a technical resource during internal and external audits.
Collaborating with leadership to grow VaLogic Bio's internal calibration capabilities.
Delivering the kind of customer service that makes clients feel genuinely taken care of.

Beyond credentials, we're looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and genuinely good with people. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database applications is expected. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel by car and commercial airline are required.
The Travel Reality
This is a field-based position. Most of your time will be spent at client sites, primarily in your assigned regional territory, with regular national travel and overnight trips as business requires. If you thrive with variety and independence, this is your kind of role.
