Why This Role Matters
As a Calibration Engineer, you will ensure the accuracy and reliability of all measuring systems within the plant. You will manage calibration and verification processes, maintain standards, and collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to support operational excellence and compliance.
What You’ll Do
Implement and maintain calibration and verification procedures according to Goodyear standards and equipment manuals
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and approve measuring systems used in internal calibration processes
Record and manage calibration data to ensure accuracy and traceability
Maintain and store calibration standards and equipment properly
Cooperate with external suppliers for equipment specifications, maintenance, and calibration services
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, technical standards, and legal requirements
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to optimize calibration practices
What You’ll Bring
Basic Qualifications
- VI/VII degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Technological Engineering
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Knowledge of measuring equipment and calibration procedures (including for cameras and machinery)
Understanding of measurement uncertainty calculation
Advanced English language skills
Team-oriented mindset and collaborative approach
Adaptability, patience, and ability to meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in industrial calibration or verification processes
Familiarity with quality management systems and operational compliance
Ability to manage multiple measurement systems and maintain traceability
Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on technical specifications
