Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and maintain the company’s calibration policy, calibration procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation.
- Ensure full metrological traceability of measurement equipment to national and international standards.
- Define and manage calibration intervals based on equipment criticality and usage.
- Perform the calibration directly on site or manage an external calibration with a certified supplier.
- Analyze measurement deviations, drifts, and metrological non‑conformities, and decide on equipment suitability.
- Review and validate calibration reports and measurement uncertainty evaluations.
- Monitor and analyse the department KPIs to drive continuous improvement and compliance
What we are looking for
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Metrology, Instrumentation, Measurement Science (or as 2nd choice Industrial Engineering, Electronics or Physics)
- Industrial and laboratory metrology
- Measurement uncertainty analysis
- Quality standards and accreditation systems
- Interpretation of calibration certificates and technical specifications
- Capability to calibrate instruments and test benches
- Knowledge of measurement sensors (pressure, force, torque, temperature, etc.)
- Understanding of data acquisition systems
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities
- High level of rigor, accuracy, and compliance awareness
- Effective communication with all other departments and teams
- Good level of English
