Summary:
This role will support CAE development activities.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize ANSA for preprocessing tasks and meshing.
- Responsible for dynamic and/or static, linear and/or nonlinear analysis utilizing LS-DYNA
- Interpret data, develop, and report countermeasures using Meta-Post for post processing.
- Must be able to optimize and correlate analyses with real world test results.
- Communicates effectively within the group about milestones and issues, and outside the group to accomplish goals.
- Analyze and resolve complex problems independently or with minimal guidance.
- Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve product and/or processes.
- Utilizes Excel to create and update project schedules.
- Travel to client site required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5+ years of Crash Safety CAE experience
- Education with the following specialties preferred: Mechanical, Mechanical Technology, Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing
- Experience with CAE tools such as ANSA, LS-DYNA required
- Experience with Meta-Post for post processing preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including excel.
