Mondelez International are looking for a specialist Logistics Project Engineer to support the concept design and material flows for a potentially large-scale Logistics Project.
We are looking for an experienced Engineer with broad knowledge of Logistics Engineering solutions, processes, systems and equipment and latest market trends.
The candidate should have the knowledge and experience of supporting data management, requirements gathering, solution and layout designs, business case creation, right through to delivery and final project completion.
How you will contribute
You will:

  • Support development of Warehousing and Logistics solutions.
  • Data analysis, identifying process waste and proposing solutions.
  • Manage delivery of defined project elements in-line with Safety, Sustainability, Quality, Cost, Delivery.
  • Liaise with Stakeholders and collaborate cross functionally (e.g. Material Flow & Logistics Providers) to optimise end-to end processes and solutions.
  • Define solution requirements and ensure project inputs (e.g. data/assumptions) are correct.
  • Generate layouts and process flows Control the project 'Plan for every Part' inputs relevant to Manufacturing Logistics: Sourcing alignment, stock holding, storage media, point of fit, skills.
  • Identify innovations and best practices; evaluate and quantify its cost & benefits; communicate and roll out to Manufacturing Plant.
  • Contribute towards the development and delivery of long-term engineering strategy to ensure continual development of function and the delivery of best practice solutions across site.
  • Contribute to creation of RFP/RFQ documents.


What you will bring

  • Previous experience and background in Manufacturing Logistics: Broad knowledge of logistic engineering solutions, data, processes, systems and equipment and latest market trends.
  • Covering, but not limited to; In-plant logistics processes, lineside delivery methods, storage media, kitting strategies, AGVs and handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of RFP/RFQ creation ready for supplier selection.
  • Strong analytical skills, data maintenance and statistical ability.
  • Ability to create Logistics warehouse and lineside layouts.
  • Educated to degree level in a related discipline.
