Job Description:Job Description:Broadcom Central Engineering is looking for a qualified individual who can provide best-in-class development and support for CAD tool flows focused on advanced process nodes.
Responsibilities:-This individual will be hands-on, heavily involved in day-to-day support of design/layout issues and develop, maintain, and support utilities to improve productivity.
- Prior experience in one or more of the following domains is required:
-- Development or maintenance of existing Calibre DRC/LVS decks for advanced FINFET nodes.
-- Creation and maintenance of CAD PDK environments (tool installations, layout environment customization using skill etc.).
-- Providing EDA tool support and flows for circuit simulation, EMIR, Aging using industry standard tools like Spectre, Hspice etc.
-- Block level place and route experience using industry standard EDA tools to gather PPA metrics
Requirements:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science plus 4+ years of experience.
- Solid programming skills
- User-level familiarity with related CAD Tools.
- Experience in all phases of CAD support, including evaluation, QA, testing, release, user support, and documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, along with strong multi-tasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.
