Prepare survey drawings, plats, topographic maps, as-builts, surfaces, and points using Civil 3D, Deed Reader Pro, AutoCAD and GIS. Research deeds, easements, rights-of-way, determine buffers/setbacks, and create paperspace layouts while collaborating with team members.

Responsibilities: 

  • Employ Civil 3D, Deed Reader Pro, and other software to draw surveys, plats, topographic maps, and worksheets; and create surfaces and points. 

  • Utilize GIS for property research. 

  • Ability to research rights-of-way, easements, and deeds from the Register of Deeds and other sources. 

  • Draw As-builts and be able to compare to the plans. 

  • Determine buffers and setbacks. 

  • Create paperspace layouts as needed. 

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • A minimum of 2 years Survey Drafting experience is required, or a combination of  experience and education such as an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school 
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D 

  • Understanding and application of CAD standards 

  • Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with surveying terminology 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Ability to collaborate and work on a team 


Skills Required
