Your Role:

As a Cable Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and optimization of cable manufacturing processes. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficiency, quality, and safety of cable production lines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and drive innovation in cable manufacturing technologies.

  • Ordering and transferring equipment then validating the installed equipment within the factories.
  • Creating work and safety instructions for various installed equipment while preparing and organizing spare parts lists for equipment.
  • Training engineers and maintenance technicians.
  • Monitoring Purchase Requests (P.R.) and Purchase Orders (P.O.) for equipment acquisition or production means in the designated area.
  • Ensuring compliance with the company's internal Health and Safety standards in the development and implementation of each project, as well as specific standards for each piece of equipment.
  • Ensuring equipment availability on time.
  • Participating in the planning of activities related to new projects while carrying out and monitoring the approval of Investment Projects.
  • Ensuring various financial reports related to the management of investment projects in addition to the coordination of the Fixed Assets Inventory management.

Your Background :

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or Electromechanical with a solid knowledge in cable manufacturing.
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills in English, fluent Portuguese speaking is mandatory.
  • Ability to multitask across multiple projects, focused on results and meeting objectives in terms of quality and time.
  • Ability to take initiative, solid problem-solving skills with an ability to work under pressure while ensuring good connections between teams.
  • A good knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in cable manufacturing, such as automation and digitalization are an asset
