Job Description Summary

Are you looking for an opportunity to be part of movie production? Sunbelt Film & TV, previously known as William F. White International Inc. (“WFW), the largest movie equipment rental company, is looking for a Warehouse Associate at Cable Department to join us. With offices across the country, Sunbelt Film & TV services productions of all sizes from coast to coast and houses an extensive state-of-the-art inventory. Our job is to help bring the magic of storytelling to life, by supporting our clients as their go-to Partners in Production.

The Cable Associate is responsible for pulling orders, loading/unloading trucks, and testing equipment. And this a full-time, permanent position located in Burnaby.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders, load, and unload trucks. Ensure all counts are performed to the highest standards of accuracy.
• Complete assignments and special projects delegated by the Supervisor, Cable.
• Advise the Supervisor, Cable of any equipment defects or damage.
• Identify sub-rental equipment and relocate to relevant area.
• Operate pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts safely (once trained)
• Keep warehouse walkways clear and shelves organized.
• Provide the highest level of customer service to productions and crew.
• Comply with WCB requirements.
• Reduce costs whenever and wherever possible.
• Other duties as required.

The Ideal Candidate

• Ability to lift or move heavy products up to 75lbs
• Willing to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
• (training provided)
• Demonstrated ability to work well independently and in a team environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail required
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
