WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Digital Support Coordinator enjoys problem solving challenges in the ever-changing digital dental environment and has exceptional customer service skills to assist our customers with immediate hardware and software support. This role is responsible for coordinating all technical appointments and installation projects for our Hi-Tech Equipment Service Technicians (ESTs). The Digital Support Coordinator is also responsible for compiling all order paperwork, assisting with the processing of work orders, company credits and other administrative duties and arranging for hardware and software site delivery to prepare the customer’s appointment for a complete field support resolution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Client and Administrative Support
- Provide technical support in the preparation of appointments for the client and Digital Support Equipment Service Technicians (EST’s)
- Assist clients, Field Sales Consultants (FSCs), Equipment Sales Specialists (ESSs) and inside staff with any inquires on Hi-Tech related items; work through technical issues with non-technical clients
- Schedule and dispatch service technicians to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs
- Coordinate High-Tech equipment installation appointments, providing all necessary site information required, to ensure high productivity, and that timelines and customer satisfaction are achieved or exceeded.
- Responds, updates and closes follow-ups sent by each technician after an appointment.
- First level investigation and data gathering to support critical cases.
- First point of contact for High Tech team.
- Pricing support for quotes and hardware ordering.
- Proactively researches new problem solving techniques and new technologies
2. Other
- Participates in special projects and performs other administrative duties as required
In addition to the key responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:
- Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including WorldWide Business Standards
- Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
- This position will be working in an office environment utilizing typical office equipment
- Unpacking, lifting, moving and packing of products (up to 50lbs) may be required
- Sitting and standing for long periods of time
- Working with computer for long periods of time
WHAT YOU BRING
Education:
Completion of a post-secondary program or equivalent experience. IT education considered an asset
Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of administrative support, scheduling and/or dispatch experience.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Excellent keyboarding skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
*This position is based in our Concord Branch.
Compensation: The posted range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000, which is the expected salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, skills, certifications, location/labour market, internal equity, etc
