WHAT YOU WILL DO

You will be responsible for selecting dental (and medical) products of various sizes from primary locations within the distribution centre and packing them for shipment. The working environment is fast-paced, and involves performing daily repetitive tasks. Focusing on continuous improvement, you will be measured by company standards (KPI’s) pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis. The role also involves maintaining production records, filling out pick/packaging slips, reporting any errors to the appropriate manager when necessary. Having excellent hand-eye coordination is an asset to this role.

WHAT YOU BRING

The successful candidate is able to pick and pack customer orders in a physically active warehouse environment that involves standing, bending, reaching, and walking, while regularly lifting up to 50 lbs. They are comfortable working with a computerized Voice Pick System (NOTL) and can accurately read and process box content information while maintaining consistent production and accuracy standards. Related warehouse experience is preferred, along with a Secondary School Diploma. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) is considered an asset, and a strong attention to detail is essential.

This position is based in our Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario Distribution Centre.

Compensation: The starting rate for this position is $19.25 which is the expected starting rate for an employee who is new to the role. Many factors go into determining pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, skills, certifications, location/labour market, internal equity, etc.
