CSG is seeking an experienced Software Dev Engr Sr to join our Ascendon team. These teams are responsible for delivering new features for CSG’s cloud based digital BSS Ascendon Platform. One exciting opportunity is for a Software Dev Engr Sr with product development experience to join our growing teams.

We are looking for a Software Dev Engr Sr who will:

• Lead software development projects with limited guidance from more senior developers.

• Architect and design complex software.

• Mentor and guide junior developers.

• Analyze and optimize code and system performance independently.

• Strong expertise in multiple programming languages and deep knowledge of software architecture.

• Work in a CLT Contract mode.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who has:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of technical experience in general application development.

• Have practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies (scrum). Demonstrate solid programming ability in a major programming language – C# and .NET framework.

• Experience building REST based API’s.

• Solid grasp of relational database platforms and access patterns – PostgreSQL. Experience with cloud computing infrastructure - AWS.

• Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in the telecom BSS business domain a plus.

• Experience with billing, accounting, and revenue management systems a plus

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD processes

• The ability to support on-call rotation

• A proficiency in English in a business environment
