About the Role
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of automation and controls platform for the Power Conversion and Storage (PCS) business. This leader will define how our control platforms evolve, ensuring world‑class system performance, reliability, and operational scalability for global deployments to support the broad range of market applications of the PCS business.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for automation and controls software and hardware across the product portfolio.
- Define market‑driven software capabilities, from state‑machine architecture to advanced control algorithms, diagnostics, communication interfaces, and fleet‑level operability.
- Partner with the Cybersecurity & Global Software Compliance manager on the implementation of secure by design practices and multi region compliance alignment.
- Partner with engineering to translate requirements into clear, prioritized development plans for embedded, real‑time, and platform software.
- Lead customer engagements to capture requirements, validate use cases, and ensure product‑market fit for the full range of PCS market interests.
- Ensure system behavior aligns with performance, safety, and reliability expectations across all operating modes.
- Drive investment planning, release governance, and cross‑functional alignment with hardware, firmware, systems, and field engineering.
- Define KPIs and success metrics for control performance, software quality, deployment reliability, and customer adoption.
- Serve as the primary product voice for automation & controls in internal and external forums.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Controls) or related technical field.
- Demonstrable experience in product management, technical leadership, or engineering roles focused on industrial controls or embedded software.
- Deep understanding of real‑time systems, automation frameworks, industrial communication protocols, and power or energy systems.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams and delivering complex technical products to market.
- Proven ability to interact with customers, influence stakeholders, and translate technical insights into business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in power conversion, renewable energy, or grid‑connected systems.
- Familiarity with functional safety, HIL testing, and large‑scale system integration.
- MBA or equivalent leadership experience.
- Exceptional communication and executive‑level presentation skills.
