Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced C++ Linux Developer with strong expertise in connectivity protocols, specifically HTTP and MQTT. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in C++ development, Linux systems, and networking protocols.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and Development: Design and develop C++ applications for Linux systems, focusing on connectivity protocols (HTTP, MQTT).

2. Protocol Implementation: Implement and optimize connectivity protocols, ensuring efficient data transfer and reliable communication.

3. Linux System Integration: Integrate developed applications with Linux systems, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.

4. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex technical issues related to connectivity protocols and Linux systems.

5. Code Quality: Ensure high-quality code, following best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.

6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, and Product Owners.

Requirements

Technical Skills

1. C++: Strong expertise in C++ development, including C++11/C++14 features.

2. Linux: Proficiency in Linux systems, including Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar distributions.

3. HTTP: Experience with HTTP protocol, including HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2, and HTTPS.

4. MQTT: Strong understanding of MQTT protocol, including MQTT 3.1.1 and MQTT 5.

5. Networking: Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and socket programming.

6. Git: Familiarity with Git version control system.

Soft Skills

1. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues.

2. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

3. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing technical landscapes, with a strong desire to learn and grow.

Preferred Skill

1. Experience with IoT protocols: Familiarity with IoT protocols, such as CoAP, LWM2M, or DDS.

2. Knowledge of security protocols: Understanding of security protocols, such as TLS, SSL, or IPsec.

3. Experience with cloud platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
