The Lead Software Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible to architect, design, Code, debug and implement software features, enhancements working collaboratively with team. He or She will develop quick prototypes to demonstrate the design concepts and product ideas to team and management. Furthermore, the candidate will work independently as well as with SME’s.

This position is part of the Clinical Informatics (CIT) Business Unit located in Bengaluru. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Actively contribute as part of a development team to tackle complex engineering challenges and promote continuous improvement.
•  Architect, design, code, and test robust software solutions while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Champion software development best practices to maintain high-quality standards.
• Develop prototypes to demonstrate design concepts, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to translate needs into actionable features.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s/Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field with 8 – 10 years of proven experience
• Expert in C++ and MFC languages.
• Advanced experience in troubleshooting & optimizing application performance (architecture, database queries etc).
• Advanced experience in integrating with third party systems (API definition, Validation)
• Advanced experience in CI/CD processes using tools like git, ADO, Team city etc.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Leverage AI to boost efficiency in software development activities.
• Ensure compliance to organizational policies, procedures and regulatory requirements such as FDA, ISO 13485.
