The role:
As a C&I Apprentice, you will help drive our goals by:

• Supporting planned, reactive and corrective electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities under the guidance of experienced engineers
• Developing practical engineering skills through a structured apprenticeship programme combining college learning and on-site experience
• Working safely at all times, following company procedures, life-saving policies and PPE requirements
• Collaborating with engineering and operations teams to identify reliability improvements and support maintenance projects
• Assisting with investigations, troubleshooting activities and equipment performance improvements across the site
• Learning how to manage engineering projects from concept through to commissioning

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• A minimum of 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 4/C or above, including English, Maths and Science
• A strong interest in electrical, instrumentation and control systems
• An interest in programming and engineering technology
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others
• A positive attitude towards learning, development and continuous improvement
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
