We are looking for an experienced software engineer with C++ to help us develop the next iteration of our cloud-based solution.
Job description
We work on an Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solution that helps protect enterprise customers against targeted attacks. The solution contains an agent written in C++, services written in C++/C#/Go, and a frontend written in JavaScript. The solution uses various kind of storage solutions including MySQL and MS SQL Server. The team is distributed between Poland, Czech Republic, and Slovakia.
• You will be responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, and automatic testing of various parts of the solution.
• You will have the opportunity to use and learn a broad set of technologies starting with a desktop application, through frontend and SQL, and ending with cloud technologies.
On your first day, we will expect you to have:
• experience with C++
• understanding of server - client, multiplatform, and multithreading programming
• experience with version control (e.g., git, Bitbucket) and CI/CD stack (e.g., Jenkins)
• experience with all parts of software development lifecycle or willingness to learn the skills
• desire to learn new technologies
• good command of English
It's awesome if you also have:
• experience with one or more of the following programming languages: C#, Go
• knowledge and experience with cloud native development (Docker, Kubernetes, ...) and Azure
• experience with UI development (e.g., JS or TS, React, HTML5, CSS3)
• understanding of agile software methodologies (e.g., Scrum or DevOps) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
• experience with RDBMS and knowledge of SQL
👉 We work in a hybrid mode - we offer up to 12 days of Home Office monthly.
