C#/C++ Developer

We are looking for a Back-end Engineer who will design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software that contributes to the success of the product, team, and organization. This includes full ownership of features and components appropriate to the engineer’s stage, collaboration with cross-functional teams, continuous improvement of code quality and processes, and effective communication to ensure scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions. Software Engineers are expected to deepen their domain expertise, solve increasingly complex technical challenges, and contribute to business impact through innovation, quality delivery, and professional excellence.

As a cognyter you will:

• Independently deliver features of moderate complexity.
• Recognize user and product needs in scope of work.
• Improve quality and performance of assigned systems.
• Support customer activities as port of Back Office Support or site team. 
• Debug and optimize systems.
• Contribute to design decisions
• Training and guiding entry-level engineers.
• Ensure data integrity and security, and compliance with company policies.
• Regularly use established code design patterns and development best practices.

For that mission you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering;
• Professional experience of developing in C# and C++ (>3 years);
• Experience in Object Oriented Programming;
• Work experience with CI/CD
• Independence and pro-active learning
• Fluent in English.

Nice to have

• Experience/knowledge with Python, Linux and debugging under Linux;
• Experience in Telephony(GSM/UMTS) / VoIP/ SIP - big advantage;
• Work with server client architecture.
• Work experience with dockerized environments
