Details of the Division and Team:
Singapore Compliance are responsible for providing support on regulatory matters relating to DB SG operations including implementation of regulatory programs and changes from a second line perspective and Individual Accountability regime.
Employee Compliance APAC are responsible for Personal Account Dealing, Private Investment Transactions, Outside Business Interests, Global Attestations and SG/HK Licensing & Registrations. We have team members based in Singapore, Hong Kong and India.
This role is based in Singapore and will provide support to both teams above.

Your key responsibilities:
- Act as a key point of contact with the Monetary Authority of Singapore on routine and adhoc information and meeting requests
- Act as the key coordinator for the annual MAS CRAFT review (expected to start in June)
- Act as the MRP for Country Compliance under the MAS IAC regime
- Work with country COO team and relevant business and infrastructure functions to ensure that MAS’ requests for information are completed on time;
- Updates all regulatory interactions on GFMS
- Disseminate and coordinate MAS consultation papers on new/amendment to regulations
- Lead and coordinate the implementation effort of the MAS-FI Transactions Platform which includes setting up the access rights for internal users, training users on the use of the platform and managing the interaction with MAS and internal stakeholders on matters relating to the platform
- Prepare Compliance report for Singapore Branch Management Board and OPCO
Your skills and experience:
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in compliance or regulatory functions within a global or regional bank.
- 6 years+ relevant experience in a Compliance or Audit role
- 6 years+ relevant experience in a commercial bank in Singapore
- 3 years+ relevant experience dealing with MAS regulations
- Solid experience handling regulatory inspections, thematic reviews and MAS engagements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, management reporting) and Powerpoint (presentation and governance materials)
- Working knowledge of MAS regulatory framework including the Banking Act and Securities & Futures Act and relevant MAS Notices, Guidelines and Circulars
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of drafting regulatory submissions and management report clearly and concisely
