Buyouts Supplier Expeditor

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The core responsibilities of the Buyouts Supplier Expediter include on-site supplier production schedule monitoring to prevent any disruptions in the production process and holding the supplier’s management team accountable to executing Flowserve Purchase Orders according to the needs of the project. They will be responsible for tracking the progress of Flowserve orders at assigned suppliers from the point of order to delivery & documentation completeness, Challenging information and status being provided by the supplier, continuously updating procurement specialists and systems data to reflect real-time information. They are responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting supply issues, ensuring any potential delays are addressed promptly within their assigned supplier and that the appropriate level of prioritization is achieved.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procurement strategies.
• Maintaining a clear and organized tracking system for all orders and deliveries.
• Review production schedules and purchase orders to determine need for prioritization of deliveries across all Flowserve orders at assigned suppliers.
• Collaborate with supplier to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods in line with Flowserve need by dates.
• Resolve supply, quality, service, and invoicing issues with assigned suppliers.
• Manage critical supplier order milestones, validate and drive supplier accountability to milestone and subtask completion for Flowserve project schedule adherence.
• Ensure holds/challenges on the order driven/caused by Flowserve are clearly highlighted and escalated (drawing approvals, NCR responses etc.).
• Collaborate with, and drive accountability in, suppliers to identify and implement mitigation plans for deliveries where need by dates are not being met.
• Ensure Accurate and up to date dates are reflected in Site ERPs.
• Where appropriate to physically witness status of components/parts in production to validate the suppliers schedule progress
• Support Represent Flowserve during customer witness/surveillance point at Supplier facilities visits as requested by Flowserve facilities.
• Submit weekly Expediting reports to Procurement Specialist per PO, outlining summary of Purchase order status, production milestones, and recovery actions.
• Additional Ad-hoc requirements as communicated by Procurement teams to support project execution success.
