We’re currently hiring for open positions in the US and Canada. We operate in Canada as Engineered Lifting Systems and Equipment (ELS)/DBA Gorbel® Canada, and subsequent communication related to Canadian positions may show the ELS name. Job Description:

Analyze processes, identify improvement opportunities, spearheads project and cross functional collaboration to successful outcomes. Develops and deploys reports and analytics to guide supply chain planning and decision making

Analyze processes, identify improvement opportunities, spearheads project and cross functional collaboration to successful outcomes. Develops and deploys reports and analytics to guide supply chain planning and decision making.   

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Collaborate with manufacturing to procure materials and maintain the production schedule via the late part list and late order notice process

•    Follow up on past due supplier PO’s to ensure ERP system data accuracy
•    Resolve PO confirmation discrepancies (i.e., cost, delivery)
•    Issue Purchase Orders (Incl. Plan Materials/Run Workbench) for assigned facilities
•    Manage inventory levels, schedules (pull in/push out) and availability of materials
•    Assist in database maintenance (vendor records, item attributes, quote pricing models [e.g.; special paint], ERP reporting and related)
•    Support change orders (and project manage orders) requests to ensure Gorbel’s on-time shipment performance
•    Assist in invoice discrepancy and resolve non-conforming materials
•    Conduct Material Transfers
•    Perform other tasks and projects as assigned
•    Some day and overnight travel to suppliers and/or company facilities may be required
•    Drive continuous improvement utilizing problem-solving skills and tools

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•    College Degree or 2+ years of equivalent experience 
•    Strong Microsoft suite business Acumen 
•    Experience with lean/continuous improvement tools and programs
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Independent judgment and demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision
•    Prior supply chain (purchasing, buying, planning, materials) experience preferred
•    ERP Experience required

 
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
ADA Physical/Mental/Workplace Requirements
•    Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
•    Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time
•    Primary work environment is professional corporate office

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Gorbel, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. 

A reasonable estimate of the current range is: Min. $52,988.00 - Max $79,481.00
