The Day-to-Day
- Provide quarterly Inventory, Spend, and Savings outlook for budgeting purposes
- Establish and maintain SAP master item records for production raw material inventories
- Establish and maintain SAP MRP attributes and reorder point variables that support production demand schedule
- Execute the system MRP – analyze order recommendations and purchase order placement as well as follow-up to securing promise dates from the supplier.
- Work closely to adjust inventories with the business units to improve service level while controlling inventories to budget. Revise purchase orders as needed.
- Ensure compliance with the companies Purchasing Policies and Procedures, Code of Ethics, Values and adherence to relevant laws and regulations
- Reconcile variances between purchase orders, invoices, shipments and packing slips.
- Solid analytical skills
This Job is Right for You if You Have
- BS in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain related field desired or equivalent experience
- 5 years minimum of experience in Production Purchasing in a high volume, high technology industry. Certification as supply chain professional is a plus.
- Energetic individual who can service a dynamic and exciting product line
- Responsive and good written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of working cross functionally in a dynamic setting
- Working knowledge of SAP and advanced Excel skills are required.
- Experience working in a self-directed environment
