What You Will Do
- Oversee contract management and perform contract analysis to ensure accuracy and alignment with agreements.
- Maintain master data in transactional systems, ensuring completeness and accuracy for supplier details, product information, lead times, and replenishment methodologies.
- Communicate forecast requirements to suppliers and ensure alignment for finished goods, components, and materials.
- Place and manage purchase orders according to defined rules and update safety stock requirements to support stable supply.
- Validate supplier data for accuracy, ensuring compliance with agreements and system requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers, adjusting daily/weekly requirements and managing escalations to protect supply continuity.
- Track and report supplier performance using standard metrics, prepare supplier scorecards, and represent purchasing in key cross‑functional meetings.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives internally and externally, and support capability building by training and mentoring team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Manufacturing.
- English language proficiency.
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience in supplier relationship management.
- Knowledge of Power BI.
- Previous experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices).
- Knowledge of continuous improvement and cost‑reduction methodologies.
