- Creates, updates, and manages robust product assortments
- Meets sales and margin targets
- New product additions and product development
- Product management and product lifecycles
- Manages and reviews category assortments
- Negotiates prices and terms with Vendors and Wholesale Distributors
- Cost negotiation and product margins
- Product pricing strategy
- Vendor relations
- Competitive Analysis
- Promotion planning, forecasting, and ordering
- Collects and posts blackout dates from Vendors
- Prepares for meetings and trade shows (creates reports, reviews information, etc.)
- Tracks new releases, competitive pricing and rebates
- Tests and evaluate samples
- Trade show and Vendor Facility Travel required

Skills and Qualifications
- 2–4 years of buying, merchandising, or category management experience (retail or wholesale environment preferred)
- Strong negotiation skills with proven ability to achieve cost savings and margin growth
- Analytical skills to interpret sales data, forecasts, and industry trends
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and relationship management skills with vendors and internal teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel for trade shows and vendor visits as required
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under tight deadlines
