Position Overview:Are you a proactive and detail-oriented procurement professional ready to make an impact in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a dynamic Buyer to join our Procurement Support Team, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring that business needs for goods and services are met efficiently and in line with procurement policies. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to strategic sourcing, drive compliance, and build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage requisitions and ad-hoc procurement requests in line with agreed service levels.

  • Source goods and services to deliver best value, balancing cost, lead time, and business priorities.

  • Support departmental KPIs including: Spend Under Control; Under Contract; Preferred Suppliers; Programmes of Work

  • Collaborate with Category Managers to support category strategies and execute subcategory tenders.

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and select the most suitable procurement methods.

  • Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure business needs are consistently met.

  • Maintain procurement systems such as SAP Ariba and contribute to process improvements.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a buying or procurement role.

  • Progress toward or completion of MCIPS is desirable.

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and remain calm under pressure.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Experience with SAP Ariba is a distinct advantage.

  • Ability to interpret business needs and develop clear specifications and RFx documents.

  • A collaborative mindset and the creativity to solve problems and drive value.
